Overview
Biomass Supply Chain Consulting (BSCC) offers supply chain solutions for various types of feedstocks, including agricultural residues, dedicated energy crops, forest residues, wood pellets, sugarcane residues, oilseed crops, and municipal solid waste across the country. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, BSCC focuses on developing supply chain networks for demonstration, pre-commercial, and commercial-scale bioenergy and biofuel plants, including cellulosic ethanol, renewable diesel, biojet, electricity, and heating. Their services are aimed at making clients’ supply chains more visible and predictable by analyzing the entire supply chain for variability sources and identifying their impacts on supply chain performance. Recommendations are then provided for design, planning, and scheduling of the supply chain. BSCC’s expertise also includes biomass resource assessment, technical engineering, economic feasibility studies for biomass and biofuel projects, sensitivity and risk analysis, scenario-based analysis, biomass sustainability and certification, life cycle analysis, and policy-making direction.
